Aqueduct project
Heritage education is not only to be seen as a topic in ‘history, art and culture’ subjects but offers great potential in terms of raising and maintaining motivation, innovative cross curricular approaches, school – community links, European cultural dimension and reaching the Lifelong Learning Programme transversal key competences as set out by the Reference Framework: learning to learn, social and civic competences, sense of initiative and entrepreneurship and cultural awareness and expression.
This is the background of Aqueduct, a Comenius Multilateral project that wants to present cultural heritage as the ideal context for youngsters to develop key competences.
